This trail mix was inspired by one I picked-up at Le Pain Quotidien a few weeks ago. It has just the right sweet / tart / chocolatey bite. What I love about making my own blends at home is 1) they're much cheaper, and 2) you can tweak them to suit your exact taste and what's in your pantry.
If you're not familiar with the two dried fruits I'm using, here's a quick breakdown. Goldenberries are a tart superfood berry from the Andes. They're loaded with vitamin A and heart healthy flavanoids. Mulberries are mildly sweet and taste a bit like honey. They're full of vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber. You can easily find both on Amazon.
Goldenberry Trail Mix

Combine all ingredients well and store in an airtight container.
